Ben is excited to take his regional experience deeper—embedding in a high-growth community to co-design solutions that move beyond pilots to lasting transformation.

Ben Williams is a public servant, connector, and storyteller committed to building stronger communities through civic innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and shared understanding. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and first-generation college graduate, Ben brings a deep sense of service and resilience to his work. As an Economic Recovery Corps Fellow hosted by WESTMARC, he supports digital transformation and economic growth initiatives across Arizona’s rapidly growing West Valley. He also serves as Government Relations Manager for The Connective, leading partnerships across 22+ municipalities to advance smart city solutions and community wellbeing.

After a successful private-sector career, Ben transitioned to public service in 2022 and earned a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University, where he was a Marvin Andrews Fellow in Urban Management. His government experience includes roles with the cities of Tempe and El Mirage, the Valley Benchmark Communities, and the Alliance for Innovation. He also hosts the “Come, Unity” podcast, which uplifts diverse voices to bridge divides and deepen understanding. Ben’s work and leadership are grounded in his military experience, commitment to recovery, and belief in the power of human connection to drive lasting change.
