Clarissa aims to build on her experience growing business and innovation ecosystems across Appalachian communities. As a Regional Network Coordinator, she has helped direct federal resources toward strategic economic development, launching tech and STEM programs that expand opportunity and strengthen the local workforce.

Clarissa Schauseil serves as Regional Network Coordinator at the Kricker Innovation Hub, advancing strategic economic development in southern Ohio and Appalachia. A native of Scioto County, Ohio, she holds a bachelor’s degree from Marshall University and brings a focused perspective on regional growth. Over the past three years, she has expanded business and innovation ecosystems, developing inclusive programs at Shawnee State University for business creation, tech innovation, and STEM education access. Clarissa designed the Hub’s data tracking systems for grant reporting and strategic planning, enabling effective resource optimization and program evaluation. Her work in site development and cross-sector collaborations fosters job creation and a unified technology ecosystem, helping entrepreneurs scale ideas for tomorrow’s market. Clarissa proudly served for nine years in the National Guard, where she developed critical skills in emergency medical care and demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and community resilience.
